Employee contributions include 3.00% for pension, 1.50% for health insurance, and 0.50% for unemployment, applied on income between 1650-17,500 THB monthly. Total employee cost is 5.00%.
The payroll cycle is generally monthly, paid on the last working day as agreed in the employment contract. No statutory requirement for a 13th-month salary.
Employer contributions include 3.00% for pension, 1.50% for health insurance (with private health cover for expatriates), 0.50% for unemployment, and 0.20%-1.00% for work injury, applied on income between 1650-17,500 THB monthly. Total employment cost ranges from 5.20% to 6.00%.
